City Homes, Amroha
Located on the Joya-Amroha road, near the new collectorate just outside old Amroha, City Homes marks a significant step forward for urban living in the region. This is the second planned group housing society of the city—a testament that Amroha is ready for thoughtful, organized residential development.
The project comprises 108 dwelling units, a balanced mix of 2 BHK and 3 BHK configurations, distributed across 5 towers rising G+3 stories high. This is not high-density chaos. It is human-scale density—designed to feel open, airy, and intentional.

The Cluster Logic: Two Flats per Staircase
The design of the residential cluster follows a simple but powerful logic: each staircase serves only 2 flats at every level. This means:
• Fewer neighbors per landing — privacy enhanced.
• Cross-ventilation optimized — air moves freely through each unit.
• A sense of exclusivity — even within a group housing format.
Care has been taken—deliberately, meticulously—to ensure that every room in every unit receives ample natural light and ventilation. In a typology where dark corners are often accepted as inevitable, City Homes refuses the compromise.
The Facade: GRC Jaalis and the Play of Light
To break the monotony common in repetitive housing blocks, the facade employs GRC jaalis—not as decoration, but as design strategy. These jaalis:
• Filter light throughout the day, creating an interesting interplay of light and shadow across the building surface.
• Add texture and rhythm to the elevation, ensuring that City Homes does not look like every other group housing society.
• Provide privacy without blocking ventilation—a quiet but essential benefit.
The building changes with the sun. Morning, it glows. Afternoon, it patterns. Evening, it settles. The jaalis make sure the facade is never static.
The Entrance Gateway: Arrival as Experience
The entrance gateway to City Homes is designed as more than a security checkpoint. It is a threshold—a moment of transition from the public road to the private enclave. It sets the tone: organized, welcoming, unmistakably designed.
The Unifying Idea
City Homes is proof that planned group housing need not feel mass-produced. Five towers. G+3. Just 108 homes. Two flats per staircase. Every room lit. Every corner ventilated. And a facade of GRC jaalis that plays with light across the day.
“Five towers rising G+3. Two flats per staircase—no crowding, just privacy. Every room washed in natural light, every corner touched by air. And a facade of GRC jaalis that catches the sun and turns it into shadow play across the day.”
